Delete your account

Deleting your DayBud account removes everything in it: tasks, habits, journal, voice notes, trips, photo copies, expenses and your profile. It can’t be undone.

In the app

1. Open DayBud and tap the round button with your initial at the top right of Today.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your data is deleted from the server straight away and from encrypted backups within 30 days. The originals of your photos stay in your phone’s photo library. A DayBud Pro subscription is managed by Apple or Google: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings, or it keeps renewing.

Without the app

Email support@daybud.app from the email address of your DayBud account (for Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, say which Apple ID you used) with the subject “Delete my DayBud account”. We confirm and delete the account within 7 days, and it leaves our backups within 30 days.

What we keep

Nothing that identifies you. Purchase records that Apple, Google and RevenueCat must keep for tax and accounting stay with them under their own policies.
