Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Creative Lab, the maker of DayBud, when you use the DayBud app and daybud.app. By using DayBud you accept them.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or your email address (with a code DayBud emails you). Keep your phone and that account or mailbox secure; what happens in DayBud under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Union) to use DayBud.
Your content
What you put into DayBud stays yours. You allow us to store it, process it and show it to you so DayBud can work, including sending voice note text to our AI provider when you have agreed to that (see the privacy policy). When you share a trip as a link, you allow anyone with the link to see it until you stop sharing.
Likes and notes from visitors
A page you share lets people with the link like its photos and leave you a private note. Notes with web addresses or abusive words are refused, and there are limits against spam. You can delete notes, block a sender, report a note to us, or turn likes and notes off for a link in the app. If you leave a note on someone’s page, keep it kind and lawful: no harassment, threats, hate, spam or other people’s private details. We may remove notes and stop links that are used to abuse people.
AI suggestions
DayBud uses AI to suggest how to sort your voice notes. Suggestions can be wrong: dates, amounts and the kind of item it picks. DayBud shows what it guessed and asks before saving; check what matters to you, especially reminders, deadlines and money.
Using DayBud fairly
- Don’t use DayBud to break the law, to harm others, or to store content you have no right to.
- Don’t try to reach other people’s data, disrupt the service, or get around its limits.
- Voice note sorting has fair-use limits so the service stays affordable for everyone.
DayBud Pro
Some features need a DayBud Pro subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
Changes and availability
We improve DayBud over time and may change or remove features. We try to keep DayBud running, but it can be unavailable at times, and it relies on outside services such as maps and AI. Keep copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Ending
You can stop using DayBud and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why when we can.
Liability
DayBud is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, missed reminders or deadlines, or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for DayBud in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
